Welcome to Willowbank Lodges                        Notice Board

Willowbank Lodges nestle in a small hamlet bordering the Kennet and Avon canal in the heart of the Pewsey Vale in Wiltshire and are surrounded by beautiful countryside and stunning wildlife. The five luxury lodges offer self catered accommodation and have been recently built on a three and a half acre site previously used as a trout farm and in earlier years, as watercress beds. The cabins are ideally situated to take advantage of the modern conveniences of the local village of Pewsey or the famous town of Marlborough, whilst at the same time enabling the visitor to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of this very special part of Wiltshire. The log cabins have been constructed using Russian redwood timber from sustainable forests and are designed to be lived in all year round. They are thermally very efficient, being cool in the summer and warm in the winter, making a winter break a cosy and unique experience.

The cabins have been thoughtfully designed and boast bespoke, hand painted kitchens, big beds, comfy sofas, ensuite bathrooms, spacious colour co-ordinated living rooms and each has a generous, covered balcony designed for sitting out in all seasons. The larger cabins are accessed by a ramp making them accessible for wheelchair users and they are on one level only. The cabins either overlook the stream which runs through the site or the one acre spring fed lake which is home to a variety of waterfowl including our indigenous pair of nesting swans.

There are marvellous walks from the cabins, whether it is to the next village pub via the canal path, or to the local wetlands site, Jones's Mill or to Martinsell Hill to experience the panoramic views over the Pewsey Vale. The location is ideal for trips to Bath, Salisbury, London (from the local train station) and Oxford or for more local sorties to Avebury, Hungerford (well known for its antique shops), Marlborough (famous public school and has the widest high street in the country) and the charming market town of Devizes. Whatever time of year you book your cabin, there is always plenty of wildlife to see and lovely countryside to explore from your doorstep.
